7. Chrome Extension Permissions
Promptly requests the following browser permissions:
- Side Panel: To display Promptly's interface in Chrome's side panel
- Storage: To save your preferences and session data locally
- Active Tab: To paste optimized prompts into the current webpage when you click "Paste to ChatGPT"
- Identity: To enable secure Google Sign-in authentication
- Scripting: To inject the paste function into ChatGPT's input field (only when you explicitly click paste)
We only use these permissions for their stated purposes and do not collect browsing history or data from other websites.
